Dr. Nicole Fallin, Director

Nicole Fallin

Dr. Fallin earned a Bachelor of Music from Appalachian State University, a Master of Music from Norfolk State University, and a Doctor of Education from the University of Georgia. A veteran of the U.S. Army, she performed in the 3rd Infantry Division Band in Wursburg, Germany, the 9th Infantry Division Band in Fairbanks, Alaska, and was First Sergeant and Enlisted Band Leader of the Fort Gordon Army Band in Augusta, Georgia. At the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, she was a trumpet instructor and brass branch supervisor.

Following her military service, Dr. Fallin taught band at Augusta’s Glenn Hills Middle School and John M. Tutt Middle School. She also initiated the marching band program while serving as band director at Cross Creek High School. Her teaching extended to the college level as Assistant Professor of Music at Augusta State University.

In addition to the Roswell Bands she also conducts The Alpharetta City Band, the Alpharetta Jazz Band and The Atlanta Freedom Bands.
