Holiday Party 2010
Click photo for more info. The Band held its Annual Holiday Party at the Champp's Restaurant at Northpoint Mall again this year. Mitzi O'Connell was responsible for party arrangements. She also decorated the room for us--Thanks Mitzi! Members and significant others were able to select from the Champp's menu, guaranteeing that they could have whatever they wanted for dinner. A real treat this year was the first ever public performance of the clarinet choir organized, promoted and enthusiastically supported by our own "big guy" clarinet section member, Rett Waller. The group is considering calling itself the "Give a Toots Clarinet Choir" but ...
Jamming at Unicoi Band Camp

You will quickly recognize the folks from the RNHB and others you met and enjoyed playing and visiting with during the camp.
Our Director – Bob Martin
The Georgia Music Educators Association, at their 2008 Annual Conference in Savannah, presented Bob with The National Band Association’s “Citation of Excellence”. This “Citation” was awarded in recognition of RNHB’s history of a distinguished level of accomplishment and for an outstanding contribution to bands and band music. The prestigious National Band Association is the world’s largest professional organization of band directors, dedicated to the attainment of a high level of excellence and band music.
